A needle sheath protects against accidental pricks. The sheath covers the needle when it is not being used for MAP gas sample testing. When a modified atmosphere headspace gas sample test is required, the sheath can be easily pushed to the side and folded onto itself to expose the sample needle for package insertion.
The needle sheath is held in place by enveloping around the 25 mm diameter sample line filter. Needle Sheath p/n 000622.
