BreezeSonic by Etesian Wind Sensors is the world’s first self-powered audible alarm anemometer. By virtue of its internal self-contained generator no batteries are necessary. If the wind is blowing and exceeds 25 mph (8.9 m/s) a 2.9 KHz, 92 dB audible alarm warns of unsafe wind conditions. The internal generator provides all necessary power. No on/off switch. Never a dead battery to replace.
